Tim Sharp

For more than two decades, Tim Sharp has balanced leadership, service and a passion for athletics with a commitment to excellence that extends far beyond the football field. Whether leading one of Kentucky's electric cooperatives or officiating championship football games, Sharp has built a reputation for professionalism, preparation and steady leadership under pressure.

A respected football official for the past 23 years, Sharp has worked contests at nearly every level of the game. His officiating career includes 13 years at the NAIA level in both the Mid-South and Appalachian Conferences, where he currently serves as a position lead while also acting as Crew Chief for both high school and collegiate officiating crews.

Among the highlights of his officiating career are assignments to the 2007 KHSAA Class 2A State Championship game, the 2015 KHSAA Class 3A State Championship game and the 2024 NAIA National Championship game in Durham, North Carolina. Sharp has also served as President of the Mid Kentucky Officials Association and has spent more than a decade training and mentoring the next generation of officials.

In addition to officiating, Sharp recently stepped into a coaching role as Head Coach for the inaugural Bardstown High School Girls Varsity Flag Football Team, helping grow opportunities for young athletes in the community. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Salt River Electric Cooperative in Bardstown, Kentucky, where he lives with his wife, Michelle, and their three daughters, Sophia, Ella and Kate.
